With her undergraduate academic background in elementary education, Dr. Filerman is especially adept at facilitating communication between children, parents and school personnel.

Specialties include the treatment of: anxiety; depression; behavioral concerns, such as sleep issues, anger management, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD); home life stressors, such as divorce and family conflict; as well as social/emotional concerns, including autism-spectrum disorders.

Prior to starting her own practice, Dr. Filerman treated children, adolescents and young adults at Denise Legacki Tompkins, Psy.D. & Associates in Naperville, Illinois.
